TMT Rebars

The backbone, rolled to certify.

Every TMT bar is quenched and self-tempered: a hard martensitic rim for strength wrapped around a ductile ferrite-pearlite core that bends instead of breaking. The result is reinforcement that carries the load on day one and flexes through an earthquake on day ten thousand.

Why it matters

Engineered for the site, not the brochure.

01

Seismic ductility

'D' grades hold a higher UTS/YS ratio and elongation, so members yield gracefully under seismic load.

02

Bond you can bank on

Uniform transverse ribs lock into concrete for consistent bond strength along the full length.

03

Weldable chemistry

Low carbon equivalent keeps bars weldable for cages, splices and fabrication.

04

Traceable heats

Each lot ships with the mill test certificate for its heat number.

Questions

Asked often

What is the difference between Fe 500D and Fe 550D?

Fe 550D has a higher minimum yield strength (550 vs 500 N/mm²), which can reduce the steel quantity in heavily loaded members. Fe 500D offers slightly higher elongation and is the most common choice for residential and seismic work.

Do you supply mill test certificates?

Yes. Every dispatch carries the mill test certificate for the heats supplied, so your QA team can trace each bundle.

Can you supply bars cut to length?

Yes. Bars can be supplied in 12 m standard lengths or cut and bent to your bar bending schedule through our processing line.
